Hard starting in a diesel engine is usually down to bad glow plugs. The 2.5 DI engine is very robust, and reliable. It's also pretty simple, and easy to trouble shoot. If your mechanic can't (won't?) identify what's wrong, then he shouldn't be working on an automobile. And I would suggest you look around for an alternative technician. |
