My muslim brothers and sister i just want to ask, as muslims is it spiritually and morally right to partake in d celebration of xmas and newyear?

Because i av seen some mosque observing tajud prayers on d 31st of dec...

Would appreciate if some one can sheild a light on this

Wa Alaykum Salam Wa Rahmotulahi Wabarakatu.

Muslims have only two Eid (Festival) ordained by Allah(swt).

A muslim has or should has nothing to do with neither Christmas, 1/1 or Easter.
Even millions of christians are no longer celebrating these festivals because of there origins.

Linking Tajud to Dec. 31 is uncalled for in a Muslim society.

Tajud that some Mosques are organising on Fridays and Sundays have their own issues aside. And attaching another unIslamic motive to it, i think is a dangerous thing.
