Hi everybody,
I have always heard people say hotel jobs generally don't pay well and is very stressful.I would appreciate it if you can share your experience in the industry. You can also let people know when there are any job openings in either hotels or other related hospitality jobs.

Hotel/ hospitality job is good if you're single, but it's definitely not for someone with family and lots of bills to pay at the end of each calender month.

The job is very stressful with little paychecks....

The advantage of working in the hospitality sector is that it builds you up on managing people, managing your time effectively, handling difficult situations both in and outside your working environments, fast and rational/ logical thinking, keeping top secrets, and most of all if you're studying for your MBA.

There will always be a real life scenario for you to choose from when tackling assignments and even examples to give during your exam.

I don't know what the pay is like in Nigeria, but in the UK and other EU state, its between1200£---1400£ depending on hours worked per calendar month.

That's was what I used to get then in Manchester as a student... though I worked only nights shift.
I guess with my little explanation and experience of working in the hotel, you've got insights into what you're looking for on here.
