On the contrary I agree. There are two possibilities, either you are in love with the person that you forget other consequences or you are afraid of the resultant effect.

Ex.
Mr A screwed a girl for the fun of it. In his mind, he might be unsettled after the escaped. Thus, it will affect his speed and impede access to his memory.
Mr B makes love to a girl. In his mind nothing else matters in this world even his exams. Thus, while in the exam, a total switch from love mood to exam mood occurs and stored memories start flowing.
