i believe it started right from uni and continued into professional work. some medical students see other life sciences students as people who wanted to study medicine but couldn't cos of jamb cut-off. It's just a f.ucked up thinking. I know people who got admissions to study medicine and pharmacy at different uni's but still chose pharmacy and you would see several family unit with siblings being doctors, nurses, pharmacists e.t.c
Some dentists even earn more than some doctors.

Medical students and eventual Doctors come as very arrogant.
They relegate other guys in their professional field as not up to them.

U really want an answer to this question? Let it get to d FP, u'll receive loads of answers.

I'm happy seeing the 'Nigerian medical doctor' well written in ur question. This shows that whatever it is(be it pride, arrogance and what av u) that makes not only health professionals kick against them is vividly peculiar to the Nigerian doctors.

Today, u'll hear doctors vs pharmacists, tomorrow its doctors vs nurses, next week its doctors vs med lab scientists. Like kilode Na only una God create ni?

Because:
they form too much.
They swore to save lives but they gamble with these lives
By law they are not to own private hospitals if under govt employment, but what happens? They flaunt this law, yet always going on strike with so much feeling of importance.
I can go on. there are lots of reasons people dislike them.

it all boils down to jealousy. most pharmacist, med lab, nurses all wanted to read medicine but they all failed along the way. now they re beefing those that were successful. but its not too late, jamb form still available. there re enough for all to be docs. grin grin cool

This statement is so last season already, so stale. Even the real doctors are tired of using it. Not every one fancies medicine tho some doctors gain our respect(the selfless ones tho). So bro, get a job, and live ur life.

exactly

I read an interview of a senior member of the NMA or even the president of the NMA, the dude has so much anger in him i pity the people he works with as colleagues and most especially the poor patients!!!

Grown professionals that should have the patients care as their priority are politicking, hating, suing each other like theres no tomorrow!!
