What are your favourite type of police car's that you've seen on the roads.
Personally my favourites are the high speed persuit vechicles that we have (pretty much the only non persuit vechicles are detective's cars etc)
Holden Commodore SS (5.8L v8) :-) (i've seen these guy's going 150km odd, the noise was grin )

Another one I like is the Ford XR8

I also like the special scheme they have for motorshow as well (police here visit motorshow's and other motoring things and display there "skills" (they do burnout's and stuff like that, things us regular people aren't suppose to, )

So what police car's have you seen (and actually like wink )

When I saw the posting I thought I was going to see some NPF vehicles. If you bring those vehicle to Nigeria,
Trust me, In two months you won't recognize them.

Can someone post the picture of our NPF cars, I mean the Land cruiser, 504, 306. Prado. What brand of cars are they using now I mean the Police Force.

All the NPF cars are a disgrace accept the PAN 04's parked in the office used by the DPO, or their high officers.

I think they need donation of vehicles in Nigeria.

Hunter how much does one of those cost and can we get the manufacturers to donation some samples to NPF, for charity. grin

The holden costs AUD$52,000 (N5200000 - I think) tongue
The ford costs AUD$51,300 (N5130000)

Re: Police Cars by Hunter(m): 6:36am On Sep 13, 2006
the car type in the top picture is likely to be replaced by the new commodore which was launched a few months ago so the second hand market will be flooded with them (they put all the original manufacture equipment back in)

They do make an awesome sound going past you at high speed tongue
