How am i looking for trouble ?

what is wrong in advocating an Pious Igbo Muslim to become a Sultan ? don't forget that for an Igbo Muslim to become a Sultan he will be voted/selected/anointed by the far dominant Hausa-Fulani population

In as much as History has proven that Lagos area has not always been Yoruba dominated, and the supposedly yoruba ownership will always be contested, as least on the internet, could we please refrain from ascribing it a "NO Man's Land", could people rather use a more acceptable, non-inflammatory term such as Cosmopolitan.

first of all let me clarify something...not everyone can become a sultan because it is hereditary... and also it is just after the coming of the british that he became the spritual leader..but in the oden days the sultan is just a head of a confederal government comprising of 30 emirs that made up sokoto caliphate... the more close example of the caliphate in structure is u.a.e comprising of six or 7 emirates...so you reaise now no one can become the emir of dubai even if he convert to muslim.. so as to sokoto caliphate
But if an Igbo man stays in UAE for more than 15 years, he becomes a citizen of UAE; then, UAE becomes a no-man's-land. Period! Or Quitely and Easily Done(QED)!

Good day people,

I advocate that an igbo man has to be the next sultan, this is coming on the heel of Igbo contribution to the greastest expansion of islam since usmma dan fodio.
Igbos in the northern hemisphere of the country is now the second largest ethnic group, surpassing kanuri + yoruba+ plus every other minority combined.

There are 3 million plus high calibre, tax paying residents of igbos descent in kano alone.
The new kwankasa city has been oversubscribed chiefly due to igbos involvement.

Igbo make up a gigantum propotion of the population of southern kaduna.

Jos, bauchi, abuja

In Abuja ... we all know the statistics

These numbers are impressive and even more appealing to the growth strategy of the islam faith.

Igbos has been known to throw their support - financial and human capacity - on any developmental initiative of their new states and hence same attitude will be replicated in the islamic region.

What better way to improve igbo-muslim relation than to make an igbo the next sultan to continue this impressive growth of high quality educated import into the islamic faith.

Igbos know, since Abraham, that Ismael was the choosen one and has decide is time to recognise that.

Lagos has been transformed, what igbos did in Lagos -turning a slumish village to a city of repute. over night . They have the potential to do same in/with islam.

Please support the Igbo.

What you are saying is akin to making a black man the imam of saudi because he his a muslim.

There is a system that is used in the selection of next sultan. They don't just pick random individuals to be the next Sultan
