I just keep wondering which security out fit got the right to ask for Driver's license or vehicle particulars. Because Police, VIO, FRSC, Army, Airforce, Navy, LASMA, Traffic Warder will all ask you for the papers of your car or driver's licence. Just want to know who is who.

Please this will always help other day to day drivers.

Baby ope say nobody harss u over driving licence abi?well this is truly d job of the nigerian police.If u carefully study the Police Act u will come to understand that d nigerian police has immense powers.The Motor traffic division of the NPF is responsible for inquistions on any kinda car plying nigerian roads BUT FOR the kinda way naija is being run places like FRSC,VIO and NSCDC wer all carved out from NPF.all na police work,including EFCC and ICPC thereby creating duplicities in a job soley for the NPF.
BUT if any of the above mentioned ask u jejely and wayoly giv them o! U nly argue right when ur in court,on top street them go mess u up.

Police,VIO and FRSC have the right to ask for your DL. No LASTMA person will ask for it except the police that work with them.

How about the Army? can't we just have one body doing this!

The army has no right,if u look at their own Laws noting like that is mentioned.But by insinuation in naija any body putting on uniform and is enpowered by law to do some force work,esp arrest,detain and confisicate will want to always create an issue outta noting by asking u such car docs.As for naija army,since na situation bring them come our roads,just obey them baby..ohk?make them no tnk say u won prove right for them.

Guy, NPF, NAFDAC, SON, All the armed forces, FRSC, JTF/STF, MOPOL, HIghway Patrol, VIO, etc. As earlier said, better comply on the road, or else. . . The rest na tory.
