Is the seed and harvest teaching - as it is being taught in recent times - empowering or crippling Christians? Why do most churches teach seed as some monetary value? How about you do good, you reap good and you do evil, you reap evil? Why is it mostly about money?

A friend sent me this video earlier today and I didn't get the chance to watch it. I finally remembered to watch the video as I prepared to sleep and I was shocked to find out that this 2011 video exposes some of the lies that have plagued the new generation Nigerian churches, especially in the wake of what is now known as the 'prosperity movement'.

I quickly jumped out of bed to post this documentary titled 'Nigeria's Millionaire Preachers' narrated by Seyi Rhodes for UK-based Channel 4.

The main subject of the video is one Pastor Sign Fireman, a Lagos-based Pastor who according to Sahara Reporters, was arrested over alleged ritual murder of a virgin girl.

The video also touched on a few other prominent pastors like Chris Okotie and Chris Oyakhilome.

As a christian, there are lots of things that disgust me about the video (ex. putting money at the pastor's feet) but I'll let you watch the video.
