A Koriean Nurse told me to eat lots of Liver and broccoli. The problem is. . . . .i don't like. Do you know of any foods rich in iron. Oh, yea, my mother say to cook green banana(ok with me)

oh, I must add that my blood level is now 8, after Blood Transfusion (3 bags). Even though I am taking iron tablets, the Docs insisted that I eat healthy

Eat green veggies. If you can find Ugu leaves, squeeze out the juice (don't add water) and drink. It's very strong and may make you feel dizzy but never mind. It's a very, very rich source of iron.

Okro? I never knew! A very cheap source at that, oh that's cool kiss. The issue I have with okro is that it makes me feel dizzy anytime I take it :' embarassed

thanks. Had a check up. my blood level is rising slowly but surely. My blood level is now 8.

I have eat everything mentioned except the Ugu leaves. I went to two Africans store - Guinnea (sp) and Nigerian but they don't sell it. I'll keep looking

Thanks. I eat okra almost every Sunday for breakfast. When i prepare "do-dung saltfish, I add okra and eggplant, I love oka so much that I eat them raw

My blood level has to be at least 10 before I can have the operation.

Go to any health store (organic / wholesfood) and ask them about iron supplements. It isn't drugs and FDA approved but real plants and other forms of grinded seeds compressed. Whatever you do, avoid foods with little or no nutritional values (cheap foods). Fried bananas is all I can think that is rich in Iron.

I tot u re just a specialist in autos,never knew u had flare for health issus too

Yak, that unripe plantain! The day I tasted it, there was no sweetness to it at all,  shocked, so dry and hard and eww! angry  Anyway, it's the health benefit that counts undecided
