Why are Nigerians idol worshippers, Pastors are humans and not gods so pls stop the nonsense.

I learnt one of the courses these pentecostal pastors learn in bible school is "branding", there they are trained to develop their church into a brand with the pastor being the face of the brand. (Simple brand marketing) Clearly these are business techniques being employed in several businesses including church business. As a result of the pastors transforming themselves into the brand of the church, thier members focus on the pastor instead of the message and of course these penterascal i meant pentecostal pastors get swollen headed and encourage these idolistic practises instead of correcting their flock who are being led astray. For instance the baptist church is one of the largest church denominations in Nigeria with over 8,000 branches nationwide (RCCG has only 5,000 worldwide) if i were to ask the average Nigerian the name of the Director General (overall head of the Nigerian baptist convention) They would not have a clue. even a lot of baptist members would not be able to answer. This is because unlike the brand /image brandishing pentecostal churches, the orthodox churches focus on the message (gospel of Jesus Christ) rather than the messenger.
