Could you guys help me out, I took my laptop that runs window vista 64bit operation system to starcomms office for browsing configuration. What the engineer told me was that I should change it to 32bit or go back to window xp, they tried to install winRAR but to no avail. How do I change it to 32bit? pls your help is need for the starcomms installation on my vista.

Why not purchase another product from starcomms that is compatible with vista?

"Degrading" to XP is nansense - Starcomms ought to update their product versions. And if you really need it, you might just go back

just get a 32bit copy of vista dvd and install. it is assumed your processor works in dual architecture mode.

Dual Core, it is starcomms mobile phone not the desk top phone.

@zoomzu. well i don't know your location, but if you want to try starcomms pls go for the evdo. right now there is no evdo phone you can use as a modem from starcomms. for 1x, they have nokia, motorola Q,,, you should not have problem using these as modem as there are compatible modem drivers[softwares] for these phones either included in the purchase pack or can be downloaded from the internet[phone manufacturers' website.] usb  or pcmcia modems are available. why give yourself headache? you have options. now go there and make your choice.
