Please whats is going to happen to Anglican churches in the next few years?Everybody is running to  New generation churches and has made most Anglican churches in the country to be empty.Anglican churches where the one with the biggest congregation like 8-10 years ago.

I attend Anglican church and we are not even up to 30(if you count the man guarding the church and drivers).Its everywhere even at my friend's Anglican church too.

People complain that Anglican churches are for old people and they don't have the taste of the youth.  

I just don't understand why lots of people just divert from Anglican go new generation churches.

maybe b/c they have plenty shit-diggers in the Anglican churches who call themselves "father"

The whole purpose and intent of church worship/ gathering as been lost (this is the fault of the old generation churches) however the new generation church are not only compounding this problem, they are taking advantage of the ignorance of the generality of christians to snatch them from their existing churches. The new generation churches are mostly business establishments so they deploy agressive marketing stragegies to win congergations( not souls) for their establishments.

but who can blame them. . . if u think about how it was formd in the first place, how wont thy hav major issues hunting them

i am anglican from an anglican family and dont intnd changing churches becos d idea is to fellowship and not seek answers in churches. . . its pple who r lookin for answers and seeking to fill their emptiness that jump from church to church. i find d whole thing quite laughable

Religion is not a show of outward. Religion is your beliefs. People are too inclined to label religion what it is not. As long as you have a set of beliefs, you have a religion. So people please stop speaking of religion as if it is an abomination. You have your beliefs, there is nothing wrong in that, accept it and move on.

How can Christianity not be a way of life and at the same time a life to be lived. Isn't a way of life, life to be lived?

Yeah the whole gay thing, split the church right down the middle, not so good.

Quite frankly the whole taste of youth thing I don't understand. When did Christ say that we should choose churches based on how they cater to youths (this is assuming that Christ said there should be many churches).
He didn't come for the old or the young, he came for everyone.

It is not about the "happening" or the "rocking" church, Jesus himself wasn't "happening" or "rocking" so the whole thing with the "in thing" church baffles me.

The Anglican commission Nigeria is against ordination of gay priests. I don't that's the problem.
