I am trying to get the opinion of Nigerians(preferably the born again christians) on the Wedding of Pastor Okotie to his beautiful wife Stephanie Henshaw. Just tell me your opinion about it. I want to publish something on this. Thanks People!

Anyway the bible is quite clear on divorce. I think that from a biblical standpoint, Okotie was not permitted to marry Stephanie because she divorced him and is still alive.

That he is a 'man of God' does not exempt him.

And calling his remarriage wrong is not judging him, please note. The bible is crystal clear.

In answer to your post, "pastor okotie" is a celebrity entertainer cum business man / politician. It is not un usual for celebrities all over the world to marry and divorce, then marry again. (the average hollywood marriage lasts less than six months). Celebrities like Elizabeth taylor have gone through up to seven marriages. Besides Okotie is an Aspiring president, do you want us to have a bachelor President?? Abeg leave the man alone make he dey enjoy himself. At least now that he is married he might stop "burning" and frolicking with all the other women in the church that throw themselves at him.

What's the hoopla with Pastor Okotie's marriage? I dont want to debate scriptures here but he is a man. His wife left him because she did not want to live in Nigeria (yes, please quote me on that); and I know that it's not humanly easy (I did not say impossible) for a man to stay single when still young.

He teaches the word of God very well and there are many christians who owe their salvation to Jesus and the fact that Pastor Okotie is a teacher. He is undoubtedly one of the best teachers of the word of God in the present world. His teaching is undiluted and without fear. He also does not get into this materialistic style of preaching/teaching that seems prevalent in christiandom at the moment.

Unfortunately, public figures have no private lives unless they are deliberately secretive.

Ask most popular people today, they would tell you one of the things they miss most about their 'pre-fame' lives is their privacy.

Thats just the way it is.
