How To Deal With Commitment Issues. by DonEse125(f): 8:32pm On Sep 09, 2008
I know y'all have heard quite a bit abt commitment issues. There've(?) been some posts about it in d past. There was a lot of dissing & insults & all that. But,we established that there are ppl who actually have this problem(like yours truly-moi!). I need help. I dont want to let d fear of the past get the better of me,bt i just cant help it. I know i've got a good thing goin on,with a good man,a man who loved me past my pain, who loves me with every part of him,but i . . . i'm. . . i'm scared of letting him in,i'm scared of loving him back, because lovin som1 gives that persn d power 2 hurt u,& i'm not sure i can handle that. I'm afraid that somday soon,he'll get tired of me & d barriers i've so painstakingly erected.

Pain is part of life.
It can not only come from someone you are dating, it can come from family, friends, co-workers, bosses, strangers.
You have to believe that even knock on wood if it doesn't work out well, you will survive. You will still be okay. You can never truly enjoy the love in a relationship without opening yourself to experiencing it and yes that means risking your heart.

jeez i sound so mushy undecided
