bin looking around for bluebugging/bluesnarfing software but i couldn't get them (except Bloover, which is mere Proof-of-Concept without attack capabilities) and i found the following trick. what it does is to restart anyones's phone while they're trying to send files or search for bluetooth devices so long as u did the trick right and u are within a 10 meter radius. note that the setup is for Symbian phones but the trick affects almost all bluetooth-enabled phones.

to set up go to NOTES, type " give seven spaces and type arham give three spaces and type " then save it ( " arham " ). now highlight the text by pressing and holding the EDIT buttton (pen button in 6600, silver button on left side of Sendo x) while pressing the forward button on the pad. when the text is selected (highlight color is blue) copy the selection. now go to your bluetooth menu and turn it on. in bluetooth name delete whatever name u had there before, press and hold the edit button and click PASTE. u should now see this: " arham ".

and that's it. remember, double quotes seven spaces arham three spaces double quotes. copy and paste. please let us know if it works for u. don't sweat, it wont wreck anyones phone but its great 2 see the puzzled looks on people's faces when their phones suddenly go off!! post more tricks and tips when i find them and please share what u have. cheers!!

i got a few mails that the steps above didnt work for some people, which is surprising cos it works for me, the originator of the trick (arham) and a lot of other people. i've discovered that my step above was faulty cos its plain text and UTF encoding, whereas for the trick to work it has to be encoded in unicode. well i've tried various conversion steps to save it within work as a unicode that could be opened with notepad but its still saved as filetype .txt. so wat did i do? i simply uploaded the original encoded plaintext (its around 20bytes) to rapidshare. below is the download link. just copy and paste into ur browser to download. then send to ur fone, use file explorer to open it and follow the rest of the above steps. my apologies. whatever i upload i'll giv the download link.

just to be sure we dont get things all murked up, click the link above, download the plaintext file, use pc suite or watever and send to ur fone. then use fone file explorer (please use FExplorer by Dominique Hugo downloadable from www.gosymbian.com) and click on the file. it'll open in notes. now select SAVE, exit explorer, go to notes and open the saved note. copy and paste as detailed earlier and u are on.
