lol, I remember crossroads, used to live a few streets away , only went there like twice though and remember some american ladies digging the makossa dance like crazy. I preferred Dreams and Zanzibar back then. do you remember DC life? no more clubs for me now though - I love my bed way too much now. |

kokoye: Zanzibar is the spot for sure. Dreams is now Love. And still the spot to be on a Saturday night. Zanzibar is the spot on Sundays. And Fridays at like Legend or one of the spots out in PG or even Ritz in DC is poping on Friday nights. On Saturday at Crossroads you find live music and lots of Nigerians. Friday night at Crossroads is Jamican's or at least it used to be back in the day. |

I want to learn the language to talk to my husband. The last thing i want to learn to speak to him is curse words. I like my teeth just fine in my mouth not on the floor. |

If you really want to learn, you'd need to get face 2 face, and voice to voice with that person that'd be teaching you. I don't think NL is going to help |
