Hi, in a program I wrote I use the following dsnless connection string to access a dbase on my system CString m_strConnection = _T("Provider=MSDASQL.1;DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=C:\\Program Files\\MySoftware\\mydb.mdb;"  ;this works fine. Now I am trying to access the same dbase over a peer-to-peer network. The IP address of the system where the database resides is 100.0.0.2 so I used the following connection string but it dosen't work: CString m_strConnection = _T("Provider=MSDASQL.1;DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=\\100.0.0.2\\Program Files\\MySoftware\\mydb.mdb;" ;Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to go about this? |
