Its more than fair. You must pass an exam to qualify for college . . . is this system fair to those with an IQ lower than 50, the guy with cerebral palsy, the law abiding citizen who can't afford college all for no fault of theirs?

To be entirely honest no one has an excuse or can claim they've never heard about Jesus. Its laughable to imagine someone like Huxley is planning to use that defence.

Here's what really gets me thinking . . . why do these people spend so much time and energy to prove God doesnt exist but yet are worried about entry into heaven?

Did anybody say that they were worried what will happen when they died?

So all good hardworking innocent citizens will all go to Hell coz they didn't worship Him or praise Him or pay their tithes but the rapists and serial killers will all go to Heaven as long as they repent with all thy heart and become born again?

That dosen't sound like justice to me.

See the thing is we might know but many people do not realise what Christianity is, most people are ignorant, I feel obligated to throw light into the issues in the bible that were meant to confuse people. You know not many Christians know that morality and the bible are mutually exclusive, in fact you are the only Christian I have heard it from on this forum, now that is a shocking stat, giving that you are spot on!

Maybe you should raise a thread to sensitise them, oh wait sorry most of them are at odds with you, well that again leaves only us mazaje, huxley, chris, manmustwac and the others to do the dirty job and we aint complaining.

Who's talking about fair judgement when the Word is clear on the issue, ? He said I am THE WAY, Not A WAY! Why would people make a fuse out of nothing, The Bible says in the book of Acts 10:1, that there was a certain man in Ceasarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, the bible said he was a devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always, This man was such a good, but notice the bible didnt say God answered his prayers, obviously he was praying for something else, because the bible says he was fasting, the angel didnt say "your prayers have been answered", rather he said your prayers and alms have come up for a memorial before God (In other words, God always remembers your goodwill, He has a record of them). For his prayers to be answered, he had to do something other than being a devout man, no matter how good he was, he wouldnt have gone to heaven if he died, so God sent an angel to him and instructed him to go to Jopper and fetch Simon Peter so he could tell him words that would save him, You know the rest of the story. No wonder he tells us in Acts 4:12 that there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved!

Its up to you to go through the way (Jesus), or be a good person and go to hell, A lot of good people go to hell, make no mistakes about it.

Yeah I know the bible is not fair, I only came to realise that not long ago, all along I thought it was fair. Is it not surprising to you that nature is at least fair to all of us, why would God not be?
I think we are all beginning to realise that it is bull crap to think that a good man who does well by himself, treat others the way they would want to be treated and does all the Good things would go to hell while a serial killer who has murdered women and innocent children get a free get out of jail card simply because he believes Jesus died to save him from burning in a hell where he probably sent some of his victims.

I am sure you have heard about John List, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_List enlighten yourself and see where thinking like that takes you, oh I suppose you too missed all the teaching that took place on the sunday school thread ( https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-176572.32.html ) go on and read about it because to me anyone who does not see those events as totally against any sense of morality and loving your neighbour as your self is a serious threat to the society at large.

On the issue of christ being the way, and all worth not, let me state that even 2000 years after he walked this earth, his message still hasnt reached the ends of the earth.
I want to believe that everybody who existed after te death of Jesus who did not recieve him as their lord were doomed. Now the question is how many years after his death did it take his religion to grow to what it has become today?? Does that mean that the Indians, Asians, Africans who existed then are all languishing in hell??

What is all this talk about fair or not fair? He is the porter, you are the clay. What right does the clay have to ask the porter why this or that? The porter without a second thought will remove and break in pieces any piece of clay that dosnt fit his design or purpose and the clay can't say a Word to him.
