The Christian world would have you believe Satanists are evil, corrupt, have no respect for life and wish to bring about the end of the world. This of course is ridiculous.
Satanists do not believe in Satan as a living entity or as a God; We view Satan as a basic  pre-Christian pagan force or principle of nature. Satanism is a way of life and not about worshipping a mythical beast with horns and a pitchfork.
Satanists respect and celebrate life to the full.Satanists love their friends and family and those who deserve it but do not waste it on those who do not.
Satanists are vengeful once wronged and do not turn the other cheek to allow themselves to wronged again. That is of course not to say disputes cannot be settled in a reasonable and intelligent manner but a satanist will not take any crap.

Satanists believe in freewill and freethinking, not that you should follow something blindly and unquestioningly.

Satanist believe in wisdom and knowledge and detest stupidity and ignorance.

Most of the religions of the world have a couple different denominations within the same belief system, the same holds true in Satanism. in my knowledge there are Traditional or Spiritual Satanists, LaVeyan Satanists, Rebel Satanists ;Atheist Satanist and Modern Satanists. This does not mean a Satanist is limited to one type or style, perhaps some Satanists may be a little bit of all of these definitions. These are to give you a general idea of the denominations. I will touch on each of them and give a general description to help the readers better understand each one. I will provide much more details and information on Modern/Traditional and Atheist Satanism simply because that is how I live my life and what I chose to consider myself.

Liberated thought means thinking for YOURSELF. You must first always think about yourself and your own individual and personal well-being. Do NOT get caught up in the thinking of others instead of what you find to be the truth for your own self. Do NOT let someone else control your mind. Control your own mind by well thought out consideration and thinking. Find out the TRUTH for yourself. What may be TRUTH to another may NOT always be TRUTH for you. We are ALL individuals and KNOWING this is being a wise Satanist that honors your own well-being. No one can live your life but you, so always live for yourself instead of seeking the acceptance of any other person. Please yourself as this is true Satanic Philosophy to do so. Do not worry about doing something to please others unless it pleases YOU first
to do so. Satan is the true GOD of LIBERATION as I stated above. Satanic Philosophy is the very root of self-achievement and self-mastery. Satanic Philosophy teaches that you yourself are what makes your life something to be either proud of or not proud of. Do not blame your own shortcomings on any other as it is you, that as a individual Satanist, must always accept responsibility for your own actions or inaction. I often make the statement that in order for others to see you as a Satanic Master you must have first mastered your own personal life. Do not depend on another, also be one that directs and controls your own sphere of existence. Satanic Philosophy teaches that the STRONG survive. Satan goes even further by adding that the Satanist not only survives but becomes the KING or To Learn more about the Brotherhood of Satan .

Satanic Philosophy states being true to yourself is being true to Satan. Satan teaches that you must believe in Satan and Satan will then believe in you. To really BELIEVE in Satan you must know and understand what Satan believes and teaches. . . . in short, true Satanic Philosophy. Remember, first and foremost that Satan encourages you to always be a free-thinker and the Brotherhood of Satan would be remiss if we did not ourselves fully believe this to be true. Remember, always HAIL SATAN and always HAIL YOURSELF. . . . because as a true SATANIST this is one in the same.
