Is China A Victim Of Economic Sabotage? by MrTurkey(m): 8:54pm On Oct 03, 2008
now i cannot help but wonder if some irrational elements would pursue this policy to undermine the emergent status of china as an economic power. we have seen the irrationality of some actions of some of the actors in the international environment; war mongering in an era where global co-operation is increasingly reshaping the relationships that exist among states; embroiled in avoidable financial mess on the backdrop of a deified capitalistic ideology;

if these elements can tell a lie in order to invade a sovereign state, if these elements can attack a nd murder innocent civilians with impunity under the guise of going after terrorists, if these elements can abduct an incumbent head of state, and can make decisions that would determine regime change miles away; is it too much to hazard that these same guys would go to any length to undermine the blossoming economy of her strongest competitor?

this is no conspiracy theory, it's just a natural reasoning that my turkey mind has inferred in the light of the milk and dairy products contamination of china that i believe is intended at undermining consumer confidence in chinese manufactured goods. and when consumer confidence drops, demand drops and when demand drops, sales drop and when sales drop, your guess is as good as mine. . . grin

China undermined confidence in their own products by

(a.) Creating a submarket for inferior goods. China tend to create the same good twice. One for the Western Market and another for the African and developing markets.

and

(b.) Allowing piracy to run wild

This topic should not even be discussed because there little or nothing like economic sabotage against china as regards to some of their products.

The former has a strict regulatory body while the later especially nigeria has no effective law of any kind. Who is to be blamed or do the chinese force nigerians to buy these products?
