In some universities, they have started the 6yrs study of our course; but in the univerity where I passed out from(imsu);they are yet to start!!! I'm seeking for where to do my internship. |

Just for the sake of those that needs enlightenment; I stumbled on the functions of a CMD of a hospital. ''The Chief Medical Director is the Hospital’s Chief Executive and in that capacity has responsibility for the day-to- day management of the entire hospital under the broad direction of the Board of Management. The Chief Medical Director in addition directs responsibility for key Departments like Accounts and Finance, Internal Audit, Information and Communication Technology Unit (ICT), SERVICOM, Public Relations, Engineering, Planning, Security Services. Stores & Supplies, Staff development, as well as relationship with external bodies. The statutory role of the Chief Medical Director is that of an over- all coordinator of the entire functions of the hospital. Each Director may be ascribed specific responsibility for a group of activities, The Chief Medical Director has global responsibility even for the functions assigned to the various directors.' Wow, I'm luvin dis thread already doe there's a thread 4 all practitioners in d medical field yet I dont c much of my pple bt mostly d medical doctors. Proudly MLS, I'm currently doin BMLS. It will b 9ce if d DMLS can b introduced in all skuls offerin d BMLS. As 4 d DMLS, I fink fresh graduates r placed on level 10 salary grades while BMLS graduates r placed on level 8 step3. As we knw interns also earn reasonable pay. |
