Your Industrial Training, IT Experience, What Was It Like? by opylas(m): 3:01pm On Jun 29, 2014
We had an orientation Tuesday, 24th June, and evry1 (4th years) 's expected 2 'start work' Tuesday, 1st July. Up until my 2nd year, I couldn't draw a line between IT for Information Tech., and IT for Industrial Training, I jst mixed them up. Funny.

If there was anything stressed on Tuesday, it was that we were going out to acquire the practical knowledge of theories taught in class, & not to make money. I gotta say, this annoyed me, it infact still does. Yes, it's designed to equip us but how would you like to work and not get paid?! Like hell I would.

I'm aware d program is 4 d 3rd years in most uni's and a year after OND program in poly's, bt it's 5yrs for a course in my school, so we undergo the program in our 4th year. I just, about 20mins ago, felt it'd be nice to have a forum on IT talks, a fresh one if u'd please. So, for the NLanders in their finals & those that have undergone the program...: Hw was d IT experience? Any fond memories, advice, mistakes 4 others 2 learn from Let's hear them smiley

Btw, I'm a 4th year student of the best university of technology in the country. I AM A .....FUTARIAN!
