chizzy94: I remember vividly when I went with a female friend of mine to represent our school - Lagos State Model College, Badore, at the spelling bee way back in 2010. She was asked to spell the french word 'Chateau' in one of the rounds, but somehow she couldn't probably because of the tension or maybe she just didn't know the spelling or something. She got knocked out, and imagine she was able to spell the other words that the remaining contestants were asked to spell down to the winner, If only luck had smiled on her!
She cried tears and blood from the place where the event was held back to school. Anytime I hear that word 'Chateau' I just smile knowing it's a nightmare for some people .
