Geohot the famous hacker who created iPhone jailbreaks and hacked the PS3 has come out with a new tool that can root almost any Samsung device, and best of all, it won’t trip KNOX. It’s quite an amazing discovery. It also works with any device with a kernel built before June 3rd, though Motorola and HTC devices need not apply due to /system being write protected.

This app is called towelroot

I just tested it on my Cousin's AT&T Galaxy Note 3, and it’s now successfully rooted! It's by far the easiest way to root any android device without fear of bricking your phone. It's either it got your phone rooted or leave it as it is... moreover, you still get OTA updates after being rooted.

Mind you.... most samsung devices not all Samsung devices... it supports other brands also... However it doesnot work on devices with exynos processors.so if you have a qualcomm snapdragon processor give it a trial
