Whenever the terror groups are receiving heavy beating, the government is accused of using chemicals. So last night, based on the words of the US chief of defense, Mattis, after the US strikes, the Russians were informed ahead of time where the USA and its lamenting allies were going to bomb. There's a so called "deconfliction line" between the Americans and Russians to avoid conflict between the two powers. So far no casualties reported. And guess what? Most of the missiles that the USA and its two musketeers (Britain and France) threw at Syria were intercepted by Syria's surface to air defenses. This is a message that even empty facilities and even after informing the Russians and then the Russians informing the Syrians and their allies, Syria is not a free playing ground for western aggression. This was also the message many weeks back when advanced Syrian air defenses downed an Israeli F16.

And Obama felt victorious and Assad remained and Obama is gone and Obama fired not a missile. Then, it was the buffoon in chief, and twitter parrot. Chemicals were used last year. And he didn't want to appear weak. He wanted to appear tougher than Obama. The Russians again arranged a theatrical display, and trump bombed an empty airbase destroying a runway. Trump announced last week he's withdrawing all troops from Syria, and a week later an alleged chemical attack and talking about war. Who would forget the targeting of invading American and French troops in the 1980s in Beirut, Lebanon where over 400 of them saw their flesh torn into pieces and flying in the air when their base was attacked? That scenario can play out at Tanf, and hundreds of American servicemen are at risk. It is time for the USA and western countries to swallow their pride and admit that the game is over in Syria. Assad and his allies have won. The western powers will not be allowed to intervene in any way that will actually bring Assad down, that is out of power without facing direct Russian fire. And those cockroaches of western backed terror groups in Syria have been crushed by govt forces and their allies. Its time to go home and stop meddling in the affairs of other nations. What happened in Iraq and Libya, built upon lies, will not be repeated in Syria. The west and their allies, from Saudi, Qatar to Turkey, have lost in Syria and burnt billions of dollars. Their hordes of foreign terror mercenaries have been barbecued. Syria is a thorn in their throats. Trump can afford to celebrate his victory on twitter and try to appear stronger than Obama and nothing more." |

May and Trump are supporters of Saudi Arabia, assisting its genocide of the people of Yemen. They remain silent while Israel shoots down unarmed civilians and has deployed white phosphorus in its previous devastating assaults upon Gaza. It is clear to me that we have fostered conflict in Syria for many years, and that, in general, western interventions have only served to destabilise the Middle East. The cost in human life is huge and will not be reduced or stopped by bombing raids from the US and its allies.
