In as much as this sounds silly, I think it can help unify the land. Why not encourage christians and muslims to intermarry and see if we will ever harbour issues that have divisive tendencies on the bases of our religions? I think it will go a long way in addressing the religious-inclined fracas we've been having. Dont u think so? |

People have been doing that, but in the real sense of it - am refering to christianity now, there can't be a compromise. Marriage is waaayy different from all other forms of association/friendship. |

Interesting inputs - and you're absolutely right dominionbaby + retro. Intermarriages between faiths have not always promoted unity but rather broadened the divisions. |

YEAH . THERE WON'T BE PEACE!!! I'D RATHER NOT INTER-MARRY. BESIDES,I'M NOT ATTRACTED TO MUSLIMS,DUNNO WHY,HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THEM AND MAJORITY OF MY FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE ARE MUSLIMS!  |

Marriage takes more than just ATTRACTION. However, it is a delicate issue. For example - are the kids Muslims or Xtrians? Just one of many questions such a marriage will bring up. I am of the opinion that we have enough problems without adding that of inter-marriage between the religions. |
