SUG elections of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has just been concluded on Friday 4th July with Miss Ngwu Deborah declared winner. She beat other six candidates ( all male ) to clinch the post amid tight competition. This is the first in the history of the school that a female emerged SUG president. The election was conducted by the Students Affairs Department led by the Dean of students Affairs, Prof. Hillary Eze. Another thing is the fact that most of her principal executive members are females. Vice president, SUG secretary, treasurer and fin. Sec. Are all female. Given this type of change which ladies have effected in this institution, she is expected to out-perform her predecessors. |

This will serve to encourage female students to take part in students politics as it was believed never possible for female to become the SUG President. |

The University of Ibadan, Ibadan, hereby requests all candidates who made the University their Institution of choice and scored 200 or above in the 2014 UTME Examination to submit their bio-data and SSCE, WAEC/NECO results ONLINE through http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng on or before Monday, 21 July, 2014.
