I was given Honda civic joker 2004 for the purpose of school shuttling, but it seems like it's consuming more fuel. The engine is cuburatored and 16vavle is written on it. My question is what is the ideal feul consumption of the car? So as to know where to start from. Help young under graduate please! Siena, ikenna351, car-doctor and all Edit : it's manual transmission! |

Are you sure its a 2004 model with carburator? Joker is supposed to be the 2 door 1994 model Honda Civic. If you are sure its a carburator then you just need a good carburator mechanic to tune it.

Does your engine run smoothly? Do you see any colored smoke from your tail pipe either when the engine is idling or slightly revved? |

0rex: Does your engine run smoothly?I only occasionally see black smoke when revved a little. Thanks |

Sunymoore:You are welcome. That black smoke indicates that your engine is consuming fuel excessively. You need to have your carburetor serviced by a competent mechanic. |
