Re: British Airways by Eeyore(m): 11:10am On Oct 22, 2008
Hey y'all,

This is reaching out to all of us that wrote this test. Y'all would have to agree with me that though the handlers were largely incompetent (only God knows how they got the contract from BA), the content of the test was fairly easy.

While we await the results, let's keep this thread alive and share info on developments as they concern this exercise.

One love!!!!!!!!
Re: British Airways by blueiyke(m): 9:42am On Oct 24, 2008
Eeyore,

I also wrote the test and I'm waiting with bated breath for the next stage. Yes, it wasn't as difficult as I expected too.

I sent a mail to your mail-box, let's keep in touch while we wait them out.

One love.
Re: British Airways by blueiyke(m): 8:33am On Oct 28, 2008
I can't believe British Airways is taking all the time in the world to proceed with this exercise.
Re: British Airways by Eeyore(m): 9:37am On Nov 05, 2008
@ Blueiyke,

Relax, they did not organise that test for nothing. Let them take all the time they want, they will eventually get around to the next stage.

Just keep your shirt on and ride out the wait.

Cheers.

Re: British Airways by Eeyore(m): 12:48pm On Nov 15, 2008
@ Fifekemi

The vacancy was advertised in newspapers and the test proper was conducted on 14th October, so I guess it's too late to apply for that.

Blueiyke, what's up? Any better yet?

This BA people are really taking all the time in the world to wrap this up, sha.

Anyways, God dey.
Re: British Airways by blueiyke(m): 2:18pm On Nov 22, 2008
undecided undecided undecided

Eeyore, methinks the best way to handle the suspense is to just blank our minds and "temporarily" forget BA.

When they are good and ready, they will come looking for us. At least they know where to find us, don't they?
Re: British Airways by blueiyke(m): 1:55pm On Nov 26, 2008
Eeyore, where are you at?

They have finally started calling oo. Three of my palls just got their invitation for , a 2nd test angry angry angry at BA office at Ikoyi for Friday the 28th.

Me never get my own sha, but no shaking.

Abeg holler.
Re: British Airways by Eeyore(m): 7:58am On Nov 27, 2008
Blueiyke,

I got the SMS with 28th November as the test date, while the e-mail invitation says 27th November. Now, I'm really confused. I guess I will have to be there on both days. Who knows, it might be another way of testing your eye for details. cool cool
Re: British Airways by segxy4ever(m): 9:37am On Nov 27, 2008
Hey if they detect that you are having multiple entry or you pass the former and fail the latter you may regret it or find yourself disqualified so you better call or email them back informing them of it or better still when you get thetre 2day confirm if there is error in ur date.
Re: British Airways by segxy4ever(m): 9:43am On Nov 27, 2008
Pls do us favour: ask if they are calling in batches when u get there 2day because i have somebody that also did the test and she's a brilliant sharp

Guys I have been called for the interview tomorrow afternoon, who knows what we should expect??
Re: British Airways by Eeyore(m): 7:54pm On Dec 11, 2008
H'yall,

I had the interview today and it went like a dream. The only snag was when they brought up the issue of working on contract basis. Na so my mood just sour ooo. angry angry angry

I made it plain to them that I was not enthusiastic about signing on as a contract staff. I would rather stick with my job with the bank, as much as I hate the bank job.

What's your take on this? I mean the contract staff thing.
Re: British Airways by wycleaftic: 8:20am On Dec 12, 2008
how is it that you all know about the BA recruitment and kept others in the dark. Na wa ohhhhh. I tought we are her 2gether to share. i didnt apply because no one told me.
Re: British Airways by mishaelash: 8:32am On Dec 12, 2008
Eeyore, wat time was ur interview? My interview was ok too but nothing about being a contract staff was mentioned.I cant even imagine leaving my job for a contract position, dont let it bother you, it was just a question because the job advert did not state that it was a contract position, they will get back to us within 2 weeks from now.best of luck!!
