Where did the people in the land of Nod come from?

You are using a wrong bible, the scripture didn't say that cain dwelth among the people of nod rather it says that “Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, ((and dwelt in the land of Nod)), on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bore Enoch: and ((he built a city, and he called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch)).”. It might interest you to know that cain before he slew his brother, had married a wife, the both fled to nod, had a child and built a city. Scripture didn't say that they met the inhabitants of nod, they are the first inhabitants of nod.

To understand this you need to be reminded that one of the missions of Adam and Eve was to "Increase, Multiply and fill the whole Earth". That said, You also need to know that the people mentioned in the bible are the focus of the story, the main characters.

Genesis 5:4 says—“And the days of Adam after he had fathered Seth were eight hundred years. And he fathered sons and daughters.” This does not say when they were born. Many could have been born in the 130 years ( Genesis 5:3) before Seth was born. The bible didn't say that seth was the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th son, rather it states that Seth was born as a “replacement” for Abel. It could be possible that Adam and Eve had other children before Seth's birth so to answer your question. Cain married his sister or perhaps his niece or grandniece. A descendant of Adam

The Land of Nod (Hebrew: eretz-Nod‎, ארץ נוד) as the noun and Moses implies is:
the land Cain arrived in living as a vagrant or nomad:
Cain was always on the move, constantly drifting, roaming, wandering, travelling etc
He lived the life of a vagabond, wandering from place to place without a home (i.e. total homelessness)
