Basically people are afraid to visit Nigeria because it’s government can’t be trusted to protect its own people, much less worry about foreigners. It’s too bad. Nigeria could be so much more than what people see on the news. What can be done?

Its really a shame. Even 7th graders like my 11 year old nephew will tell u he won't come visit this country for the same reason.

They have issued travel warnings against Israel too. It's not a new thing. Israel own is even worst, Some international airlines have cancels flights to and from Israel. Nigeria can issue their own travel warning to certain countries too if they like. That wouldn't stop real business men and women from coming to this country. Money conquers all!

You make sense. Apply common sense anywhere you are and you will be fine. I see foreigners flexing in Nigeria and walking down freely no one hurts them. The media is simply overblowing things, its not as bad as it is been presented.

So, if our leaders don't have anywhere to run to and their children bcom victims of bomb attack, then they will really understand how to profer solution to all insecurity challenges in this nation. One more thing, let the remaining nations close their borders against Nigerian after ensuring that all the relatives of our political leaders are sent back to Nigeria from each of these countries, so the the self-destruction can be exclusive.
