We often hear people say i like that man,he is so creative. Does that make him stand out? On the otherhand,its no news to see that people who we consider brainy seem to be recognised and praised on daily basis. Which do you think is worth it?

I choose creativity...

A creative person will always be ahead of a person who is only intelligent.

A creative person sometimes may seem easy to spot due to that unique characteristic about him.

Intelligence is also a wonderful attribute but most times when observed one would get to see that it goes beyond being smart.

@Op......You mean Brilliance over Creativity............Intelligent people are naturally creative.........while brilliant people are not

We always tend to mix Intelligence and Brilliance together

Both are good but creativity has more longevity.
It will serve you better in the longer run

Can a person b creatve without being intelligent?
A rudimentarily intelligent person, can find a complex pattern ,usually in a preset puzzle (Like book-smart people who swot to make high grades).
A preset puzzle is artificially created e.g school tests
A creative person can find/guess/sense patterns/trends in a real-world puzzle and has the boldness (if required) to exploit it.
Creative person = intelligent person+.

You cannot be creative without intelligence. Intelligence is logic...it is the known. (though intelligence is judged as per depth of analysis which is usually not seen at surface level, but that does not change the fact that it stems from known logic) Creativity is unknown....it is spontaneous. My take is that you can not move to the unknown if you do not have a base....which is usually the logic. creativity is being different....different from what?....the knowledge of you base, your bounds, makes you intelligent and without that, you cannot move to creativity.

To me they are the same thing. Intelligence is just an umbrella term because there are different types of intelligence.
