His previous owners named him Sloan. I got him less than 2 months ago. He was exactly 2 (or 3) years old at the time.

Idrismusty97: Of course that is what a dog is meant for . I have pictures of two giant bush rat killed by our dogs. I was privileged to watch the second bush rat being torn apart. That was when i discovered bush rats fight back! We train pigeons so it wouldn't be funny watching him kill pigeons. He would received beating of his life in front of the dead pigeon so he would know what he did wrong.

Its as if seun is an animal scientist,he's really passionate about animals.

Our dog kills chickens and eats them! It's crazy because we don't feed him raw meat. Then he went on to teach his surrogate daughter(well, Brandy cheated on him ) the same nasty habit.
Eventually we had to sell them.

Our new dog doesn't kill anything....not even rats. On the contrary he plays around with Lizards rats--traps them by the tail and dies some funny stuff--and eventually lets them off. He allows chicks share his food, but chases the big 'uns away. Oh but he'll kill hawks that try to carry off the chicks if he manages to hold one down long enough.

It won't work. The dog won't understand that killing the pigeon has anything to do with the beating he's getting. Only humans are that smart.

Yep it doesn't really work but i realized it would take longer time for him to repeat it, especially if beating is done when he is caught in the act(Not after the deed have been done).He rarely chase the birds nowadays, I still feed him the pigeons anyway but not raw! I don't give my dog anything raw(At most slightly cooked). I believed that would deter his taste for blood. He doesn't eat any animals he killed even chicken.

Dogs are a subspecies of the grey wolf. A dog's digestive system is very similar to that of a grey wolf because dogs are descendants of grey wolves. They have similar digestive systems which can digest and extract nourishment from raw meat much better than other types of food.

The main reason I started feeding my dog with raw meat is that he came to me with yellow teeth and a bad mouth odor. When I fed him some raw chicken, I noticed that his teeth became whiter and his breath became quite alright. When I started feeding him dog food again, his teeth turned yellow and his breath became awful once again. He also became less lively (basically sleeping all the time). So I switched to raw for good.

U once told me not to feed my pup wit raw chicken when I complained abt her attacking and killing chickens, am really getting confused here cos I ve been seeing diff posts of how others feed their dogs with raw meat. Can u pls help me out sir

My dog goes after and kill anything it comes in contact with (rat, chicken, lizard, mice, bird ). The most annoying thing is that it eats them.... and I hate that.

I really dislike seeing blood,little Paris is almost five months. The first day we both went on a stroll,she saw a very little chick and sprang up to attack it.

That i won't wanna see,i had to act fast if not she'd have massacred the poor chick who got so frightened. I'd do anything to prevent a bloody scene as making dogs have any access to anything that has to do with blood makes them crave for flesh.

Its no surprise that you'd see some dogs who would wanna rip flesh off any human they sight at first instance.

I won't wanna see any hunting trip of her yet won't want her to be a vicious fighter.

ROTFL!! The dog dey form 'agbara' when you're around.

My late pet Innocent used to kill chickens whenever he could. He'd shred the chickens and leave them at our doorsteps. As for lizards, once he caught them, he would play with the lizard (yank the head, chew the tail etc) until he got bored, leaving the reptile dazed and half dead.

He is dead now and his older brother, Ruggedman is just too old to be of any use. The animal looks like he was liberally sprayed with white powder. Lizards and chickens move around in our compound with impunity and the poor thing just stares at them, too busy coughing and sneezing to bother about chasing these intruders.

Yes! My dog is a murderer lol. What has she not killed? I remember when we had a rat situation at home, she took care of it. She would sleep in the kitchen and the next morning, we'll see at least on dead rat. She kills any animal smaller than her that is not a dog(sometimes, she even attacks smaller dogs)lol. Even lizards that we had a lot of, my dog kept on killing them and now, we hardly find lizards .she once killed a cat that somehow snuck into our compound. No wonder I heard strange crying noises that night. Poor cat! Camille also killed a helpless bird once which made me upset and she had to be punished. The unrepentant dog killed a chicken the next day and hid away from me throughout that day. I only encourage her to kill rats, which she does very well.I don't know if it is in the character of Alsatians to kill everything they see because my dog just loves to kill and funny, she won't eat them, she'll just drag them to her cage as a kind of trophy. She's really proud of what she does lol.

Seun tell us the name of your dog. Maybe we'd create a moniker for it and you'd make it a supermod which means bye bye hackers!

reason why my dad dashed out one of our first black GSD,they killed lizards and rats ,whenever they had little chance to run out of the compound they chased people's chicken in a ccc church opposite our building.they even complained of the both of them chasing a goat.....we payed for every chicken they killed until we decided to give away the most stubborn one
