I am in need of a publisher in Ibadan. I am a student whom course doesn't go in line with writing, but I recently discover my talent in writing. And i don't want it to waste.
My recent book, Deadly Trust is more or less of an action film. It's an interesting story of a young boy whose parents were assassinated when he was just 16. He was also a target but managed to escape death. In order to be free, he faked his own death and changed his name. He vows to forget about his dream and future, and avenge the death of his parents. He later met a girlfriend who is ready to die for his love, and a very good friend who is willing to help him. The three starts the deadly mission. He trusts his partners so much, but how really is trust deadly? Was he even able to avenge his parent? What was the side effect of shunning dream, and choose a deadly path instead? The Peagries' organization, a top assassination group, who were the supposed group behind his parents' death was being sponsored by top politicians. Was he really able to bring them down?
I am always disappointed with almost 95% of Nigerian movies, which don't show any real and deep thinking. Most of our film writers, are writing to make profit, but not to really entertain us with what we want. My dream is to reduce the rate at which Nigerians shun our local movies, and choose to prefer foreign ones instead.
I am really looking for publishers who can help me achieve my dream. I want to start from publishing, and then possibly move to movie writer. The story, DEADLY TRUST, was written in 3 <higher education> books. It's that long because it is an action film written in a book.
