I am creating this thread out of anger and I must say I am very displeased at the current situation of the roads in Ejigbo LCDA.
My visit to Ajao Estate yesterday was a terrible one and a nightmare having to pass Ejigbo as my shortest route. My shortest route became a four hours journey instead of the usual one hour.
It is an utter disappointment that virtually all the roads in Ejigbo are in a terrible state. Both the inner roads linking the streets and the Ikotun-Eijgbo road are nothing to write home about. The traffic on that road can make someone pass out.
The public bus I entered on my way back home from Ajao Estate had to take short cut because of the traffic congestion from NNPC bus stop to Ori-Oke bridge which was a nightmare. Even the short cut wasn't better as the driver had to follow the very bad inner roads to burst out at Ori-Oke bridge. embarassed

I am a supporter and admirer of Fashola's administration, but I will be guilty if I didn't create this thread pointing out the terrible situation of roads in Ejigbo LCDA.

What the hell is Kehinde Bamigbetan doing as the LCDA chairman? He needs to be sanctioned by Fashola immediately and if possible removed from office. The guy isn't doing anything about the roads. It is terrible honestly! angry

Sadly,I didn't take pictures because of the heavy downpour.I promise to take pictures and upload in my subsequent threads about the roads in that area.

my bad! I promise to take pictures anytime I pass that area again. Anyone who knows Ejigbo very well will at least agree with me about what I am saying.

I am thinking of contacting a political editor of a newspaper who is a mentor to publish my story. Ejigbo people are really going through hell honestly.

As long as is not part of the propaganda, the supporters of APC will do nothing about it.

We know them too well, APC is truly armed against the people. The IGR generated from that area could tar all inner roads around ejigbo.

Say no to the devil, say no to APC

The roads in ejigbo are an eyesore. Container-carrying trucks have tumbled both on the express roads and in the streets of ejigbo a few times. I don't even know how to start complaining my own. I live in ejigbo and I just got a job recently somwer in VI and guess what, I have to go and squat in a friends house close to the island cos if I make the mistake of trying to go from ejigbo everyday, I wld end up spending more hours on the road than I wld spend at work. Abeg, it will be a blessing to many is due attention is paid to the state of the roads in ejigbo, Lagos.

seriously, the road is really an eye sore. The ikotun-ejigbo gutters that was started a year ago have been abadoned thereby creating an artificial gully. No sign of work going on there as the contractors have abandoned the road. The raining season has turned the road to another Apapa scenario turning the road to a death trap. The inner roads which was suppose to serve an an alternative road is nothing to be impressed about. The only road which Kehinde Bamigbetan manage to construct is the road passing through Ronik Schools which lacks durablity and quality.

festac roads are getting a new facelift. At least Ayodele who is a LG chairman like Kehinde is doing well even though Amuwo Odofin LG gets higher allocation than Ejigbo. I don't know of the other places you mentioned but I will make sure the Ejigbo case gets to Alausa.

berem and her wahala. If na PDP road you would have taken more than fifty pictures with photoshops.
The last time we held meeting about that road with the LG chairman and lasag we were told that the road could not be repaird for the money ment for the road have been share among party faithfulls which i hope berem is among. So stop complaining about the road and spend ur own share of the looties and bootis from the national cake.

Shut up and face your state! Lagos has over 3,000 roads! So if your own is not captured in this year's budget, definitely by next year, they would do so.

Berem, you forgot to add, that the alternate road from Ajao Estate to Inner town of Ejigbo has been commissioned with about 2 bridges. So next time, while going there divert to Idimu and access Ajao Estate from Oluwole Ejigbo pending when the road is given attention.

Haba, Cleverly. Your adorable Senior Advocate of Nigeria is messing up in his boys quarter and you can not call him to order? Gaddem it! shocked Can we say now that it is because we lack education that we can not govern ourselves well? Definitely not education but a moral problem.

Please do that. The LG chairmen are just sitting their fat assses down and embezzling the money meant for the development projects. Fashola can't be everywhere so it is left for the grassroot governments to let the state know their problems, but when they don't do this, what happens? Only last week Fashola queried the chairman of the igando LCDA because of the atrocious state of Igando roads. Baba Fash had come to commission a project there and the man was shocked and appalled at the state of the roads.

These LG chairmen need to be sanctioned asap

last time I entered Jakande estate a month ago, construction was going on towards the gate. I dunno know the extent in which they have gone. Isolo LGA is still far better off than Ejigbo.

You mean a four hour journey?

Na WA o. Why did your driver take that bad road?

The road was made unmotorable because it is not part of our budget.

As far as I'm concerned, that road is useless.

Advice your driver next time to follow the right roads.
