I dont see anything wrong in that, in as long as that was the only way she could get back on her fit again,
it is her past it has nothing to do with the present,
this could be wrong if she still continues doing it.

As in,

Eventhough things were bad she could still have survived without going into prostitution . . .

I would advice that such a case should be taken before God because as the word of God says in the book of Mathew 7vs1 that judge no one so that you will not be judged. If you are a born again Christian, pray for your mum for change of heart and for God to visit her for financial breakthrough for her to put full stop to such a ugly act.

By patronizing prostitutes and bumping into an old one that was in the trade when the mum was in it
becoming a prostitute yourself and your colleagues/customers reminding you of how so much you behave like your mum
sitting down idly with some drunkards listening to their story
How do you come across such discoveries,first off
