The acting Governor of Adamawa State,  Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri,  has accused the former administration of Adamawa State led by Former Governor Murtala Nyako of plundering the state’s funds to the tune of over N80bn.

Fintiri who made the disclosure in his maiden broadcast to citizens of the state on Tuesday added that “Never in the history of Adamawa State had “Executive Stealing” and institutionalized corruption been elevated to the level of statecraft as in the past administration.”
He promised to set up a Judicial commission  of inquiry to investigate former Nyako's administration.

Nctrice: He should tender evidence and facts to the EFCC let them do the needful!!! During such broadcast he should have informed the people of Adamawa of the effort he is putting together to get the funds back or make Nyako pay for his crime, but I guess he won't do that

He was supposed to put the Executive in check but was too busy counting his share of the loot to see the ex-governor dismantling billions from the treasury.

I'm sure the N80bn is inclusive of the ones he planned to steal before his 3 months expires. Thief catching Thief.
