am still in season 10 of supernatural but I've noticed something about the show.
Angels seem to be weaker now that when the were introduced. (even before the fall)
also why castiel fly again ?

Yeah, since they started introducing "geek" and "nerd" angels and demons. The last time angels were powerful enough was in season 6, since then, they have become weaker and weaker. I remember in season 4 when ruby was literally scared of angels but now they look like jack asses in suits. I think it has to do with the fact that the angel mythology pretty much folded after season 6 when Raphael was killed. They killed off the archangels and it ruined everything, they should have at least introduced 2nd level angels who are just under the archangels in terms of power and authority when the archangels were gone.

It's not that they are less powerful, but that most of how to deal with them have been revealed or is now familiar with most hunters..

That will just be recycling..... The death (I don't believe she can be killed) or trapping of Darkness should lead into another mystery. Maybe lucifer wanting the apocalypse again....
