CNN notes it “looks like a car made from pieces that aren’t quite touching, held in place by some invisible force.” The three cylinder engine will deliver 228 horsepower by itself, and you’ll also find an electric motor with two transmission. The combo delivers 357 horsepower.

#6 Rolls Royce Phantom


The 2014 Phantom will cost you over $400,000 but it’s certainly an amazing car. The sedan is described as “ultra-luxury” and features the classic design of Rolls Royce. Inside you’ll find exquisite interior detailing with full-grain woods, hand-stitched leather and more. Spec information puts the Phantom holding 450 pieces of leather in its interior, so if you’re looking for plush, you found it. An 8.8 inch display screen with navigation system helps you get where you want to go, and includes 3D maps. This limited production sports car was simply made for racing. The pretax base price is quoted as $375,000 so anticipate paying over $400,000 for this beauty. This is a supercar, one that Car and Driver called “ridiculously fast.” Believe it or not, it’s also an American car. New, it could get you 750 horsepower, but a group of Russians known as Total Race got hold of it, and rocketed it to over 2,000 horsepower. This car will cost you a cool $8 million dollars. It’s currently the world’s most expensive car. It was built on request for Fulda Tires. It was built in 2005 and has been featured in rapper Jay-Z’s music video, “Lost One.” Fulda wanted to use it to test their tires on the road, and the car’s top speed is 218 mph.

You can get this grand touring car for only $1 million. Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. owns three. The car was designed by VW, and features an 8.0 litre W16 cylinder engine. It’s been featured on BBC’s Top Gear, and was recorded at reaching speeds of 254.81 mph. Several special custom edition models of the car exist, including one built for an Ukranian in Dubai.

Want speed, class and design? The McLaren 650S will cost you around $318,000 but compared to other cars on our list, it’s a steal. The company recently announced they’ll also produce a GT edition of the 650S. The car hits 60 mph in less than 3 seconds. You’ll find faux suede and a polished carbon fiber in the interior, but if it’s the feel you’re wondering about, you’re in luck. Car and Driver said you feel everything, everywhere. They especially like the rear spoiler, which “shoots upright to serve as a high-speed air brake.”

#1 Porsche Spyder


Porsche is billing their car as a “new look at the supercar” and says its “Pure. Energy.” It’s a plug-in hybrid sports car (yes, seriously) and is a limited edition model. You’ll pay around $845,000 for this vehicle, but look at everything you get. The car was the first street-legal production automobile to break a record by a 12.8 mile course in 6:57, beating the previous record of 7 minutes.
