BBC was showing the medal presentation the 3rd mounted followed by the 2nd and received their medal presentation, when it came to the 1st Blessing Okagbare's turn they cut to studio and Gary Lineker annoced that they have run out of time.

You don't have 10 seconds to show the winner of the main event of the commonwealth.

Give me a break! shame on you BBC

If they put their resourses to broadcast the commonwealth game,is BBC coverage area only UK, of course the answer is NO.

BBC is not a charity organisazation, they paid for the broadcast rights to make a return on their investment. And Companies all over the world have paid BBC to adverised their products/Services during the Games on BBC which includes Nigeria.

Its only Fair Broadcasting if BBC switch to their Studio after the Medal presentation and The National anthem of the Gold Medalist.

This is not about Race.

I am 100% Nigerian, but i love the National anthems of South Africa, Canada and Germany. I won’t be happy if BBC will switch to their Studio shortly before the anthem is sung for the Gold medalist that may be from the aforementioned countries, talk more of my Nigeria.

Advertisers don’t pay for Studio Chit Chat they pay for the Games which includes Medal Presentation.

BBC always like to undermine Nigeria's achievement. I remember the lousy, crappy, report they wrote when they announced that Nigeria has the biggest economy in Africa.
.. That station is so full of crap and anti Nigeria ... I deleted them from my bookmark since that day and I don't even watch em. I'd rather watch cartoon than watch BBC.

abi o BBC was so happy when ebola came to Nigeria, it was one of their major headlines. I love BBC but what i discover which is also common among western Nations is that they are not always too happy when a country like Nigeria excel , that's the plain truth, they try to water down our achievements but let FIFA ban Nigeria tommorrow, it will be a major headline.

It changes nothing but then whats the bigotry about? However, I am not surprised. It is the Brits afterall, they are well known for their bigotry. If it was a Brit who won, it will be shown so many times and they will have time then.

This is from same people who see anyone from Scotland as Scottish when they are not winning but a Scottish all of a sudden becomes British and not Scottish when they are winning.
