i cant help myself ,my fridge is full of plantain chips,i buy them every day

the taste is sweet and spicy,

a bit of ginger and slightly ripe

and i eat them everyday

I absolutely love plantain chips.

Here's a dip I make to go with the spicy ones when I have friends over. Found it somewhere on the net a while back.   

  *  1/3 cup well-stirred unsweetened canned coconut milk
    * 3 spring onions , chopped
    * 1 teaspoon chopped fresh jalapeño chile, including seeds
    * 1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander
    * 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    * 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice, or to taste
    * 1 lb jumbo lump crab meat coarsely shredded


Preparation

Blend coconut milk, spring onions, jalapeño, and 1/4 cup  in a blender until smooth and pour into a bowl.
Whisk in mayonnaise, juice, and remaining 1/4 cup coriander until just combined.
Stir in crab and salt to taste

Yummy.
Great also for those super eagles Match nights    

I love plantain chips, especially the ones made with rope plantain, they are so Sweet and crispy

i have to otherwise it wont remain crunchy after a few days,

besides ,just seeing them in the fridge makes me hungry, cant get enough.

Love them too.Gosh i love plantains.think i should stay off the fried ones for some though,not good for my weight watchers programme..but sebi plantain chips is not as fattening as dodo?

same here o, i love chips too,especially #100 own ,the ones you buy when held in traffic,lol
