I met one in the wild yesterday. I was out hiking in the morning when I came across it on the path. It was rolled up, brownish or black, quite large as I recall it and probably warming itself in the sun. At first I thought it was the Black Mamba. And I was like ‘O God I'm Dead’ but then looking closely enough I realized I was wrong. But still though, I had to walk like 100meters around because of the way it kept looking at me menacingly. I was so scared, I thought it was getting ready to attack or something. God, I really hate snakes. Also few months ago, I've seen an eagle ( or a hawk) attacked, killed and flew off with half a snake leaving the other half behind. It was really exciting watching the action. I hate snakes with a passion. I have seen it just once and never want to again. I remember that fateful day, I was barely in Ss2 and my morning duty was to.sweep the back of my room daily. In order not to be late for classes, I start sweeping by 5am. So, I was doing what i have to do that day when out of the surrounding bushes a snake ran out chasing a lizard. They didn't see me but boy! I saw them. Slithering around in full force, I would never ever forget that picture no matter how short termed my memory is. The way I ran, I'd really not want to share. |

I think was just out on a river and I saw one on the water surface, when I was a kid. Had no idea whether it was poisonous or not. But I got quite scared and left the water immediately, almost like walking on it |
