Here is the thing,

If you know less than 5 names, you are not good in your language at all.

If you get between 5 and 10 names you are just there.

If you get between 10 and 15 names, you are good

If you get between 15 and 20 names, you are very good

If you get above 20 names, you have definately dined with elders and could lecture your language in a university (lol)

Just type the local name and your language.

Leggoooooooooooooooo there

How on earth will you say that the Python is called Eke while the Cobra is called Eke Ukwu which means the greater Eke?

Both eke and eke ukwu are correct. I just didn't remember which one was which in English.

They are both correct, but the 'eke ukwu' is for the python or simply called eke or eriri ukwu by some igboid groups.

The cobra has another name entirely which I can remember for now.

There's a venomous tiny-looking snake in Nsukka called 'echi eteka'(tomorrow is too far) with such potent venom that kills its victim in hours, not long enough to survive till the next day, hence its name. It's another species of the snake family of which I don't know its English name.
