Ebola's average incubation period is 3 weeks before physical symptoms appear, followed by two weeks of agonizing internal bleeding leading to a hellish death, HOWEVER, in some victims, the virus can cause illness in just 2 to 3 DAYS, followed by the same agonizing death, all in the space of ONE single week. Yes, you heard me right. Ebola can kill a new victim outright just ONE single week ( 7 days ) from the date of initial infection. This is a disease that spreads will astonishing speed, and which CAN kill just as fast. Bodies of EBOLA victims are now being left in the streets uncollected in Liberia, as the disease decimates the city of Monrovia, whose terror-stricken populace is far LESS congested than the 21 million inhabitants of Lagos, Nigeria. Whether or not the infected Lagos doctor is alive right now today, her chance of losing her life will remain as high as 90%, UNLESS the US manufacturer of the new experimental cure for Ebola virus fever allows dosages to be sent to Nigeria IMMEDIATELY or earlier. 40 Likes |

I think the report is not entirely correct. What is being reported on Channelstv is the death of one of the nurses that had primary contact with the Liberian. Finally, it turned out that, in spite of the empty rhetorics and reassurances, the Lagos and federal health authorities made no preparations whatsoever for the management of possible Ebola epidemic in Nigeria. What a shame. The situation is already bad but I hope it doesn't get worse than this. So far, it is 100 percent fatality in Nigeria, unlike the 90 to 60 percent being reported elsewhere. Whereas we had all the time in the world to prepare for possible Ebola outbreak in Nigeria since March this year when the current outbreak was reported in Liberia, now we have no choice but to try to play catch up. That is what you get in a country that expends so much energy and time on SHARING of national cake. Always reactive, never proactive. 135 Likes |

That Mr Sawyer was a biological weapon host. In some other news, the man fought the doctors and nurses treating him, he even splashed them with his urine......direct exposure. quoting citizenisb
My honest opinion, if you have had contact with this dead Mr Sawyer within the past two weeks kindly make the honourable sacrifice by indicating yourself; furthermore, all the infinitesimal contacts with the contacts of Mr Sawyer should reveal themselves. Please we need to save ourselves and others. I know it sounds wicked but we can't allow this to spread in Nigeria. 59 Likes |

How safe are LAGOSIANS? considering the population and inter-relationship with all and sundry. I am afraid if its now an epidemic ( God forbid) in Lagos , the easiest and seamless way of being infected would be through the public means of transportation. Danfos and BRTS. Considering the high mobility in lagos. GOD heal our LAND 10 Likes |

this is so so unfortunate, she paid with her life while trying to save another, but it's time Africa stand to be counted, we need to reconsider natural medicine, i believe mosts of these herbs and roots possesses great healing powers that can help to manage some of these diseases that we do not know were they are coming from, African leaders should invest in researches of natural remedies. again we need to tell ourselves the truth and make policies where necessary by reconsidering Man's relationship with ANIMALS too much closeness to animals without appropriate precautions are the reasons behind all these diseases here and there 14 Likes |
