Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by charliebiz(m): 12:29pm On Oct 20, 2008
actually graphcard has been reliable for me but lately. it is hell for me and some other fellow internet marketers that i know in my neighborehood. This has made me to look else where and i thought of GTB mastercard but i don't know how much they charge per dollar. Can somebody tell me?
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by Seun(m): 1:09pm On Oct 20, 2008
Try orderbay. They can make your payments for you directly, using Paypal or other means.

Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by kehers(m): 1:16pm On Oct 20, 2008
Was about to say dat too about GTB mastercard. Been using it for a while now with no hitch, I opened d dom account wit $0 and there have been no special charges since expect d 30$ card setup fee.
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by charliebiz(m): 2:37pm On Oct 20, 2008
av gone through orderbay and i find them likeable, you neva know what other ppl offer untill you get into a hitch which makes you source other means. this is exactly what graphcard has done to me and other users thereby loosing a loyal customer that having ignorantly paying too high for their debit card not knowing their are other means. thank you seun and other members that contributed to this posters post. a big lesson for those doing business online and offline.

Hi sir,

You did not mention exactly the reasons
for the decline or rejection by the merchant.

However, let me inform you that i have been
using graphcard generated visacard for the
past 3 years. Graphcard itself is not a
payment card but a platform to do several
things amongst which are visacard, receipt
of cheques, purchase of online products e.t.c.

In respect of your visacard generated through
graphcard, there are only 2 issues always
involved

1. If you do not use a US billing address

2. If you are using Nigeria IP address for
your Internet access e.g Starcomms, Multilinks
Reltel e.t.c. These IPs will be declined though
your visacard is legitimate.

Solution to the above

1. Pay for a US virtual address at Graphcard. It
will cost you $49.

2. Download Hotspot Shield to shield your local
IP from detection http://anchorfree.com/downloads/hotspot-shield/

3. If you don't have your won system, locate any
cafe that uses a foreign IP e.g Israel, UK, US, Greece
e.t.c and all your payment will never be declined again

4.Follow Seun's advice by using orderpay.

Indeed, i have heard some other people complain about
having problems with graphcard but many people are still
using it.

Charliebiz has hit the nail on the head. Always have plan B in case
your first option messes up or new rules and conditions emerge.

Good luck,

Love from Abuja.

hmnn, you should have patronize hosting companies in Nigeria which u can easily walk to their companies for complaints, check them out here http://ogbongeblog..com/2008/10/top-web-hosting-companies-in-nigeria.html

For ur graphcard issue, thats a great blow, you better try the GTB one and be relieved,
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by kehers(m): 3:13pm On Oct 20, 2008
If I were u, if I were ooo, me I will forget orderbay, graphcard and watever them. Go GTB Mastercard. Cost nothing to open.
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by bronxe007(m): 4:24pm On Oct 20, 2008
I have been using the Graphcard for over two years now. Actually, i faced this problem too some years back (i think this is due to I.P. adress stuff).

I gladly also advice that you just work up to GTB and get your own Mastercard there. I have been using GTB Master card and there's been no problem of I.P. or rejection.
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by laplace(m): 5:56pm On Oct 20, 2008
Truly, GT Bank MasterCard is one of the best and most reliable means of paying online. No IP address hustles. No US address fiasco.
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by mrghost: 6:39pm On Oct 20, 2008
Yeah! I think little by little we shall overcome the hurdles we cross while making and receiving payments online in Nigeria.

Just try GTB Mastercard. that's it
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by edgecution(m): 7:36pm On Oct 20, 2008
I'm begining to think somebody is paying to get GTBANK mastercard advertised here. I have Gtbank mastercard, i've been using since 2006, but the truth is NOT ALL WEBSITES ACCEPT GTBANK MASTERCARD. Ask people who have tried it on several sites.
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by greenhope(m): 8:25pm On Oct 20, 2008
I have been using Graphcard for three years now but lately their customer service really sucks and its like their fast loosing their vision behind Graphcard.

For online payment I make use of Websurfer which is a credit card offered by Zenith bank and I have not experienced any problem with them for now.

You can get one by visiting their site www.zenith.com and clicking on cards.

I hope zenith officials sees this free advert am doing for them and buy me a cup of coffee.

Be Happy

try gtb mastercard, they dont charge transaction fee

@edgecution,
thats not true, i have a gtb mastercard, i have used it on amazon.com, godaddy.com, ebay.com, hostmonster.com, ipower.com, yahoo.com even a singapore website-vooju.com

as long as they have naija on their country list.

I started with UBA but they charge $50 for every card reload, they tagged it security fee, (up till now, i still cant comprehend what they are securing, and from who)
Although they promised to refund it whenever i decide to discontinue the use of their card, but come to think of it, I have accumulated up to $250 with them in the name of security.

so minimum balance says $100, security accumulations says $250, thats $350 hooked up with those guys
I just pray they will refund me sha
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by OluAbuja(m): 11:12pm On Oct 20, 2008
What i can deduce from this is that there is no
perfect solution because most people have had
bad experiences using the various providers.

I know people who use Intercontinental and
Zenith banks' cards that were declined.

Well, if you want to register your domain name
in naira, you can do so at www.web4africa.net,
www.hostplusng.com or www.nairadomain.com

There are so many uptions nowadays.

Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by hubreality(m): 6:06am On Oct 21, 2008
You are being declined in your payments using Graphcard because the assigned you a US virtual address and you're using the Nigerian IP. I've been using it for two years but lately the are not really meeting up to my online payments processing activities, though i still use them for cargo shippment. Zenith Websurfer is better, I will indeed check out today, the Orderbay & GTB Mastercard with 0$ transaction fee. Very interesting to hear that info.
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by biolabee(m): 5:03pm On Oct 21, 2008
gtb has introduced collection of transaction fees see letter s[img][/img] below
this was sent to my mailbox although some other users said they received no such email
the reason is that they were bearing the charges initially but now can pass it to the customers

I am presently considering btw orderbay n GTB mastercard. i just need a card less than $100. the only problem i have now is that the least GTB mastercard that can be issued is $100. correct me if I am wrong because i am right in front of GTB bank, nay my mouse is hovering on Orderbay's $25 visa card link.

Transaction fees do not apply when you use your card online. That notice is for those who withdraw from GTB's MasterCard at an ATM or spend at a store via a POS.

another member in NC. but their bank, Citibank will not cash it!!!! I've called this LFR/garphcard several times, left mess.  but no replies.  went to web site, on contact, left mess. but still no reply. i guess nobody cares.  all i keep getting is recordings. i need help, need #'s to where i can speck to a live person on this matter. i need the number on the back of one of the credit cards that you have to get in touch with them.  but folks please be careful with the people, i do not thrust them. i think they are a scam.

Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by bug24(m): 2:13pm On Oct 25, 2008
Thru life wahala , Its called corporate flukes not scam, scam is too harsh. grin
Re: Having Problems With Graphcard? by Nobody: 4:22pm On Oct 25, 2008
whether fluke or scam. they are the same as long as they are not reponding to your messages.

I had something close to that with Paysat.com, an online credit card processor.
In every way, they appear not to be scam, even listed in BBBonline but in the end, i wont say what happened but try checking their website

www.paysat.com

thats how it all begins. make enough money and leave the scene.
I know thats harsh, yes, but it's way too harsh when you dont get a response after entering an agreement
