I was at the saloon today, plaiting my hair. The saloon is just near the road side so I was in a better position to have a greater view of passers -by.

I noticed that I saw often of young childern ranging from 5-13yrs carrying school bags and on mufti. It then struck me that they must be going for holiday lessons.

In my family and most families then, holiday lessons was so alien but nowadays,it is more of a 'culture/norm' that kids must go for holiday lessons.

Many families allow their kids/ward go for holiday lessons for reasons like to keep their brains alert, staying out of troubles at the yard/blocks and probably to avoid their(children) disturbances.

The above reasons notwithstanding, I personally think that kids should stay at home and learn things which they missed during the session. Go for holidays and also read stuffs like novels, story books etc to still keep their brains alert and improve their vocabulary.

What is your own opinion friends?
