Growing up,we were all told somethings we later found out to be untrue.

Lies seem to be an outlet in time of trouble & adverse conditions.Lies are told everywhere - At work,religious institutions etc without thoughts..

Nowadays,lies seem to be a way of life for Nigerians using it under the cover of several names - Scope,Wisdom Manipulation & so much more ; so kindly contribute by stating lies you've been told at one point in time.

The 1st three sound petty but they were silly lies i'll hardly forget..

In churches

In the church, school, home..., we were been told that the devil marches or licks on any food that falls from your hand to the ground. So the moral lesson was, never pick food particles that had fallen.
