Hi'all

I av a problem with my phone,

the Playstore though, Whenever I wanna download, It keeps showing 'Insufficient space'' and There is Space on the phone..

It just started bout 3 weeks ago.

My own just refuses to open but all other apps works fine, i decided to reset the phone, but i couldn't even sign in my Google account anymore.

I just fixed it it guys... go to your setting. And then storage, then Internal storage, then Uninstall few apps..

me also am facing thesame things.can't update my app from playstore any more.can't even see how many mb of the thing u want to download.have uninstalled some apps and moved some to memory card still does work

alright, if you're rooted.
make sure you dont have an app called freedom. if you do, open it and click on options.... then choose stop service or else you freeze it or force stop it from app manager.

If you don't have it then proceed from here.

Get an app called 'root explorer' ,
go to the root tap/folder (if you don't see the root tab then click on the + icon below to add a root tab)

Next click on the r/w slightly above (it means read and write ) ,now accept the superuser request.

locate the 'etc' folder below in the root tab, you'll find a file called hosts.
long click on it and choose text editor.
now delete everything and enter this text below without editing. make sure to begin from the first line of the editor.

127.0.0.1 localhost
#74.125.93.113 android.clients.google.com

after this, click options to save and exit. restart your and share your testimonies

pls mine doesn't want to open, wen i click on it nothing happens... i don't have freedom on my device. It was working fyn b4 i upgraded my fone from android 2.2 to 4.2.2

Playstore can be very frustrating at times

All you need to do is to revert to your previous Google play app ( the default one for 2.2) -- i think it should be called Vending.apk or thereabout

Move it to system >> Apps on ur device memory with d aid of a root explorer & reboot ur device.

You'll have to sign in to Google before using Playstore & hence,will need a strong 3G network connection.

We all know how unreliable Airtel can be...

And for freedom palava, u can follow Oga Boss Clinton's procedure.

But then,if u have LuckyPatcher.apk installed, scroll the downward part of the app from right to left.

You'll then click on Block Advertisements

A pop-up will appear,Now click on Clear Hosts File

Close your Playstore & Re open.

I have some proposals for you.

1st- try signing in from a web browser just to be sure your credentials are still legit.

if they are actually correct, then it's a network ish!
try Mtn I think they are trying well in terms of connectivity.

if it says the same thing, and you're not rooted.
my candid advice is reset factory ASAP!.
BE SURE TO HAVE BACKED UP WITH YOUR LAPTOP
