The Fall of Pastor Chris
Many people in d social media have been pouring invectives against Pastor Chris, branding him all sorts of names, because of d allegations os his wife, Pastor Anita. In our usual Nigerian mentality, it is obvious that most commentators, even without hearing from Pastor Chris found him guilty as charged. Everybody is entitled to his opinion. Let me start by saying that i do not attend Christ Embassy, neither am i a fan of d Man of God. Let me also say that i am writing this to only true believers, people who have decided to live according to Scriptures. 1. Because of denominational differences, it is easy to think of this as a CE problem, but i would want us to understand that it is not. This is a clear manifestation of d prophecy God gave to Morris Cerrulo in d '80s that satans chief goal in d next century is d destruction of d institution of marriage. Whether in terms of d gay movement an d capitulation and criminal silence of many revered ministers of d gospel, or in d falling away of high profile ministers due to immorality, d goal is d same: destroy d family. Satan knows that when d family is destroyed, d church is rendered useless.
2.Where there are divorce proceedings, d two individuals are wrong, at least to varying degrees. But, they are entitled to making mistakes as human beings. We must not be judgmental or unnecessarily critical. Many people today are still living with a spouse but actively wishing their partners were dead. In practical terms, they are merely co-habiting. Men have died so much because of d stress of marriage. Satan is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that d marriage institution is as unattractive as possible.
3.As believers in Christ, we cannot join d unbelieving to attack a fallen brother, ie, if d allegations are true. D Bible teaches us to pray for him, not to go to social media to castigate him. Pastor Chris is God servant. We are warned not to judge anything before d time, or to judge another persons servant. He needs our prayers, not our gloating over him. That does not amount to condoning what he did, or didn't do. We must not go beyond d Scriptures.
4. Pastor Chris and CE is an important institution that God has been using to depopulate hell. You, like me, may not be very comfortable with d sexy wears of the female worshippers, but if we understand that Gods general has been wounded in battle, then it is our responsibility to mourn d loss to d kingdom of God. It is not about Chris, it is about d kingdom of God. We must learn to mourn this loss and to pray fervently for d people involved.
5. We cannot forget d Scriptures that say let him that thinks he is standing take heed, lest he falls. Many people are standing by d grace of God, which has shielded them so far, from temptations. If you are such, do not boast or brag because only d grace of God, not you will power, has kept you. If you have also erred at any time, in any way since you decided for Jesus Christ, why then would you gloat over a fallen General of Gods army? Unless you are an atheist, you cannot say God has not manifested thru Pastor Chris. We must therefore rally round his ministry in prayers so that d sheep of Jesus Christ will nit scatter.
May God help us as we run d race of life, so that we can finish strong. Amen

Since i read it last week on nairaland... I have been so worried about the gospel we will preach if this becomes true. It is not about christ embasy... It is about the gospel we preach. But am not worried because GOD will sort this out the way he sort that of Benny hinn and wife about 3years ago. Neither Pastor Chris nor Pastor Anita will go down for this. The saints are praying & GOD hears and answered prayers. We dont care who is right or wrong in this issue. Our greatest concern is the gospel we preach. Thank u my able D for this thought provoking piece.

Pray for the millions have been deceived , exploited, lied to , bullied and threatened.

I have no sympathy for these people, my sympathy rests with the people that have been defrauded.

it is about protecting the marriage institution and protecting the faamily. Broken homes do more evil to our society than anything else.

i dont know which faith u r subscribed to but am not a christ embassy member, i have never been & i will never be. However, anything that happend to any christian preacher affects the gospel we preach. If his home breaks, it will not be easy for one to teach about stability in a home without the person being taught not thinkn about how chris‘s marriage crashed. This matter is beyond christ embasy

when those with low self esteem write, we can always know them. When those who dont know english write, we can always know them by the way they try to use big big words. weather he is fake or not. The world sees him as a christian pastor. So on that ground lets pray that GOD save his marriage. Remember his two daughters. Divorce isnever an option where children exist. Thats my own dear.

That is what Hinn speak about his marriage and that it was the wife so why always the wife when the man cheat.
Hinn and Chris are both fake miracles healers so why God should answer any prayer for them.

The screeners asked the mother if Grace had been healed, and when the mother replied in the negative, they were told to return to their seats; the pair got out of line, but Grace, wanting "Pastor Benny to pray for [her]," asked her mother to support her as she tried to walk as a show of "her faith in action," according to the mother. Both are not real man of God so stop this praying about this fake pastor who only want to enrich himself and give very very little to the poor, when I read that his house has the name white house that says all, he is never and I say never a real man of God.
